WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? 

To make the most out of your fishing charter with Misty Fjord Fishing in Ketchikan, Alaska, being prepared for the weather is key. The weather can change quickly, so we recommend wearing layers (stuff that can get fishy or wet!) , rain gear, boots, hat, gloves,  sunscreen, etc. Our goal is to make sure you have an enjoyable and comfortable experience during your time with us, and being properly dressed is a great start! DO I NEED A FISHING LICENSE? 

Before embarking on your fishing adventure with Misty Fjord Fishing, it's important to know that every person on the boat needs a state of Alaska fishing license unless you're under the age of 16. If you are in search of catching a king salmon, you'll need to purchase an additional king salmon stamp. Our team can guide you through this process or you can click the link below to purchase and print your fishing license and king salmon stamp for the dates you are here. We want to help make your Alaskan fishing trip as seamless as possible!

WHAT KIND OF FISH WILL I SEE AND WHAT CAN I KEEP?

Ketchikan has a unique fishery that offers a variety of fish to catch, including all 5 species of salmon, halibut, cod, crab, and more. However, what you will catch can vary due to weather and the time of year. At Misty Fjord Fishing, we are here to answer any questions you may have about what you will be catching. Our team is experienced and knowledgeable about local fishing regulations and can guide you on your journey to catch the perfect fish.
